Mariscal House

The Mariscal house is located in the Urbanization of Montepinar, Murcia. This project had two fundamental premises on the part of the clients: the first that most of the rooms were developed on the same floor and the second that were not four smooth walls, that the facades had movement.

The initial project was developed entirely on the ground floor, with an item closed in cover for the facilities that increases the volume of the housing. Subsequently, after making a study of the ground, was the need to increase the depth of the foundations, so that advantage was taken of this need to have a basement with garage, storerooms and a room multipurpose.

To avoid the feeling of a flat facade the project was divided into different volumes depending on the interior rooms of the house and those volumes were moved, entering, leaving and rising relative to the adjacent volumes.

The coldness that transmits the materials of facade, is in contradiction with the warmth of wood flooring outside that takes you from the street to the entrance of the housing and that surrounds the pool area, the vegetation of the entry and the accompanying in the tour outside the house and its interior vintage.
